Welcome to Jacksonville! Join us at the federal courthouse to learn about the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the 2023 Summer Series, and some things you can do to have a successful summer. We’ll then walk next door to Sweet Pete’s to enjoy refreshments and mingle with lawyers, law clerks, and other law students. Feel free to bring your summer supervisor with you!

The Summer Series is sponsored by the Bench Bar Fund of the Middle District of Florida and the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. The Summer Series is open to all law students working in Jacksonville for the summer. Events in the courthouse are in the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse, 300 North Hogan Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Parking information will be emailed before each event. A photo identification is required for courthouse entry. Note that events have space limitations. If you RSVP, you are taking a space and food is being ordered for you. If after you RSVP you cannot attend, you must contact (904) 549-1950 in time for another student to take your place. Professional attire must be worn.
